Hi there! I’m Sunny Jay – welcome to my shop!

Here’s a little about me: I was born and raised in West Texas, where my love for jewelry was inspired by the incredible women in my family. Each of them had a distinct style, and I quickly began associating their personalities with the jewelry they wore. I especially admired my Aunt Linda – she was the kind of woman who effortlessly stood out. She even made a few of her own pieces in college, including her wedding band, though she never pursued jewelry professionally. I always thought she was fabulous.

During my junior year of college, while studying education, I realized it was not the right path for me. I started searching for something that truly lit me up – and that’s when I discovered the Jewelry and Metalsmithing department at Texas Tech. I gave it a shot and immediately fell in love. I graduated with a minor in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing and even returned post-grad for an extra class to dive deeper.

While working a regular 9-to-5, I began collecting used tools and equipment whenever I could, dreaming of one day launching my own jewelry business. I started taking on custom jobs, designing as much as possible, and slowly building up inventory. Finally, with a lot of encouragement and support from my family and friends, in February 2024, I launched my online shop!

Since then, I’ve gotten married, moved myself (and my studio!) to Midland, and now work full-time as a jeweler. It’s been an amazing journey so far! My website has grown so much since launch, and now offers both handmade and curated collections – giving you tons of unique options without ever compromising on quality. I work exclusively with precious metals and am committed to creating or sourcing only the best for my customers.
